Czarny Staw Pod Rysami is a mountain lake above Morskie Oko in the Tatra Mountain Range in Poland. Once you walked halfway around Morskie Oko there is a quite steep hiking trail to this beautiful lake - many many rock "steps" later you may want to take a food/picture/rest stop on the lakeshore. After you filled up your energy levels again, walk to the right and hike even more rocky steps until at some point you stop and see this stunning view of Czarny Staw Pod Rysami - well worth every step.
Hi, I'm Kathrin. I love to travel (Cook Islands/Aitutaki for me was heaven on earth, picture postcard perfect) and to take photos. For years now I have accumulated tons of pictures on my harddrive, I always wanted to do something "good" with them, but never had the courage to actually do it, until now. It would make me very happy when those photos, that have a sentimental value for me, make another person happy as well while eg. drinking hot cocoa out of their new mug with one of my photos on it and thinking "life, in this moment, is good".

Thank you very much, Rita :) It was pure luck that I was able to take this picture with this deep of a blue color - days before it always rained in that region, on the hiking day it was also mostly foggy, but the clouds cleared here and there for a couple of minutes - which led to this beautiful picture :) Thank you also for the info about the Blue Lake in Mt. Gambier. I heard of Mt. Gambier before, but the closest I got was Halls Gap in the Grampians back when I was in beautiful Australia.
